“I turned 40 this year, and my wife wanted to give me a meaningful gift. She chose this knife with an engraving (which turned out beautifully).
At first, I loved the knife. Then, for a while, I put it away in the drawer — my other knives seemed more versatile and could do everything this one could. The knife was sharp out of the box, but I still decided to sharpen it myself. You’ve probably heard that stainless steel is harder to sharpen — and that’s true. Still, it was surprisingly easy and very satisfying to sharpen. Long story short, this has now become my go-to knife for vegetables.
It also looks great. The handle is nicely polished, grippy, and comfortable. The rounded edges don’t punish your hand even after long use. And the blade geometry is excellent — it’s thin and cuts like a laser.
So yes, I can definitely recommend this knife. Just sharpen it yourself, and you’ll enjoy that amazing feeling when it’s so sharp it even bites slightly into the cutting board. ;)”
