“The ideos would have to be one of Lamy's more idiosyncratic designs: a cross-sectional profile that's tear-shaped rather than a pure circle, with the pen clip affixed in an off-centre position. Though this results in a bit of an odd look, though, it makes the grip section very comfortable to grip and write with.
I really like the new z53 steel nib, that made its debut on the Aion, and it's a welcome addition to the ideos. Would I have paid full price for this pen? Probably not - and if I *had*, I'd have been all the more put out to find it didn't ship with a converter! - but it's another unique offering from Lamy, and importantly, it sits comfortably in the hand and writes exceptionally well.”
