Hi there,

Would you be interested in having a chat about caring for our wonderful 5 year old fox red Labrador Django and our home for a couple of weeks?

Django is a big boy with a very big personality. He is a house dog and loves people attention as we mostly work from home. He loves to play, is super smart (knows all his toys by name), loves a cuddle, and will follow you around the house. He is pretty chilled most of the time as long as he gets a walk and play time.

An absolute must is that he gets at least one decent walk a day as this is the routine he's had his whole life, mornings are ideal.

We need someone who is very comfortable walking big dogs, is fit, active and loves getting out walking on a routine daily basis. He walks very well on his Halti, but can be a bit of a grump/reactive with other dogs so please only reach out if you are an experienced and confident large dog walker.

We live in a lovely clean and tidy 4 bed, 2 bath home on a very quiet street within walking distance of Cotton Tree and Maroochydore beach. There's space for off-road parking and a caravan if required. We have wifi available, a big well equipped kitchen, lovely peaceful patio area, two lounge rooms (one with a very big tv perfect for movie watching), ceiling fans and large windows, and a lovely peaceful landscaped garden. We have pot plants that will need watering, but that's about it really. Our main priority is knowing our boy is well cared for.

- a genuine interest and passion for dogs and dog walking, and can commit to sticking with his routine;

- no pets.

“Our stay at Jen & Phil’s was fantastic. From the beginning, communication with Jen was easy, proactive and instructions very clear. The house is extremely well setup for housesitting and feels more like an airbnb: a full room, closet, bathroom and pantry was left vacant for us. It was very easy to feel at home there. Additionally, the patio/yard is incredibly easy to care for (no grass to cut). While the house is great, the best part of this sit is Django, the most beautiful, smart and affectionate dog. Don’t let his big bark fool you, he will kiss you to death. We loved spending time with him, with lots of morning/evening cuddles, impressive football skills and loads of walks around a beautiful promenade and beach. We will definitely miss him. Thank you both for such a wonderful stay!”

“Jen and Phil are a really nice couple and live in a beautifull and comfortable queenslander. The house is in close proximity to the beach as well as the shopping centre and make it a really nice location. Django is full of energy as well as personality and he will be missed dearly. We would definitely look after him again and enjoy the beautifull location. Thanks again for having us.”
