My home is a 3 bedroom, 2 story townhouse in a 48 unit complex, Surfers Palms Plaza in Benowa. The complex has a swimming pool, tennis court and barbeque area. My place has a:
*small, bricked back yard with picnic table
* 2 balconies off the 2 large bedrooms upstairs facing into the complex with a view to Surfers Paradise
* 2 carports either side of front door, no grass, with small garden
* Security screens on all sliders and front door
* Fans In bedrooms, living room and Garden room

Public transport is a 10-15 minute walk away. Supermarket, coffee shop, bakery, restaurants, botanical gardens, and park 5-10 minutes walk away

I have an elderly cat, Mr Kitty who likes the quiet life and being brushed.

“Mr kitty was anxious and meowing when I arrived at the property. It took him a day or two to calm. (I told Pamela this) He seems to have anxiety being left alone? Maybe don’t leave him 3 times in the space of a few months? I didn’t go into your bedroom, it’s a private space. There was l poo and sick on the door when I arrived through the house (not cleaned) & the litter tray was dirty upon arrival too. A stranger entered the property with a key, without warning during the stay. She was told to even though I’d communicated I was there and kitty was well.”

“Pamela and Mr Kitty are a pleasure to sit for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From our initial chat with Pam, we appreciated easy, prompt communication and detailed instructions left for our arrival. Mr Kitty is a cruisey, delightful aged puss, he loves his food and particularly enjoys being brushed. Pam's home is clean, very comfortable and inviting. A wonderful location, the large pool within the townhouse complex was beautiful. We didn't have our vehicle, didn't need it, public transport is easy to access. All amenities are within walking distance. Thankyou for your welcoming hospitality Pam, we would certainly return if you ever need us.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our housesit in Benowa. Mr Kitty was very easy to care for and spent most of his time in the upstairs bedroom coming downstairs mainly at feed time. The townhouse was tastefully decorated and inviting with a wonderful view over Surfers from our upstairs sunny balcony. There was a convenient shopping centre only 10 minutes walk away and only a further 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Botanical Gardens. Pamela left clear instructions and was great to communicate with on the care of Mr Kitty and the home. We would highly recommended this housesit to others.”

“We had a really pleasant house sit at Pamela's home looking after Mr Kitty. The house was lovely and clean and we had clear written instructions and general information from Pamela on how to look after Mr Kitty. Mr Kitty is shy at first but it doesn't take him to warm to you and start wanting lots of pats a cuddles. He really is a lovely kitty-cat. The area is close to shops and restaurants and has a lovely park and sporting fields within a 100 metres for walking and riding your bike. It's about a 20 minute drive to Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, and the botanical gardens are less than 10 minutes away. We had a lovely time at this house sit and would highly recommend it to anyone that has the opportunity to do a house sit here.”
