After 35 years as a home owner in Western Australia, I returned to Victoria to provide some support for ageing relatives. I have a small A - frame camper that I enjoy getting away in whenever I can. Most Winters I head up to Queensland from Victoria to escape the winter chill.
I have looked after friend's houses and furry friends for up to 5 weeks in the past. I've also owned and cared for a variety of animals over the years, mainly dogs but also guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and tropical fish!
I have a well-behaved and house trained 9 year old Maltese/Shitzu/Cavoodle dog called Fudge, who would love to come and housesit with me. She is very friendly with other dogs.
Prior to retirement, my working life was spent as a primary school teacher and then School Principal in city and country Western Australia. While I loved my work, I'm loving retirement and enjoying my exercise classes at the gym, and some travelling in Oz and overseas whenever I can.
My preference is longer term sits, 1+ month, but will consider all offers.
