We are a retired couple, we have been house sitting for the past 6 years. Jason (56) worked in the office supplies and print industry and David (63) as a Civil Servant for the UK Government. We are both dog/cat lovers and have owned and looked after many different breeds of dogs including Collies, Westies, Labradors, English Bull Terrier, Cocker Spaniels, Jack Russells, Schnauzers, Puggs, Great Danes, Kelpies, Cockerpoos, Greyhounds, Chihuahuas and Maltese Terriers. We have both owned cats as well. We have also looked after chickens too. After taking early retirement we were Airbnb hosts at our home in London (which is near to Hampton Court Palace). We loved having new people coming to stay with us from all over the world and managed to achieve ‘Super Host’ status. Both David and I understand how much of a wrench it is leaving a pet behind while you go away. We also understand that your home has to be taken care of and that it is a big step to invite strangers into your home. We are both trustworthy people and will take very good care of your pets and home like they are our own. Our hobbies include travel, photography, cooking, gardening, being outdoors, cycling, walking and meeting new people. As we are not working if your plans change then ours can change too. The reason for house sitting is that we love animals, we would never have put our dog or cat in a kennel. As we’re travelling for an extended period house sitting helps with our costs while we are in Australia and takes us to places we may not have dreamed of going to. In addition to looking after your pets we can water your garden, look after pool maintenance and mow lawns etc. We’ll take care of everything and notify you of any issues.
