We are a retired couple who enjoy travel and house/farm sitting in country areas; preferably out of a township. We look after all animals/reptiles/birds and stock etc. Bec is a retired police officer, and Wendy has retired from the hospitality and services industry.
Bec has an Associate Diploma in Horse Husbandry and is a volunteer with the State Emergency Service. She was a Police Chief Inspector and has managed numerous areas within the police including SA Police’s Mounted Operations and Dog Operations. Wendy was the head housekeeper of a large hotel and worked as a hygienist for a washroom services company.
We are both very responsible, sensible and handy. If your power goes out or your pump jams, we won’t abandon your animals or house, but we will work through to find solutions to any problems that might arise (see our references below).
Neither of us are smokers, we have no dependents and no pets.
We enjoy housesitting as is allows us to stay in one spot so we can explore the area. We prefer regional areas as we love walking and exploring.
We will happily look after your house and garden and feed and care for your animals. We will treat your animals with care and and if you need us to send you pics or Skype/Zoom/Facetime etc; we are happy to do this as we understand how you might miss them.
