Hello Pet Parents,
I’m Dee from Melbourne. I bring 25 years of teaching experience from diverse settings into the world of pet and house sitting. Through teaching I’ve developed skills such as patience, adaptability, trust, attention to detail and responsibility - qualities that naturally carry over into caring for your pets and home.
For me pet sitting isn’t just a service, it’s something I genuinely love. I get so much joy from spending time with animals. If your pet loves being active and social or prefers a quieter, gentler approach, I’ll make sure they feel at ease and cared for in their own space.
Over the years I’ve looked after a wonderful mix of dogs, cats and chooks across Queensland, Canberra, NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and most recently WA. Stays have ranged from a week to over a month. Each one has been a unique, heartwarming experience.
Outside of pet sitting, I’m often outdoors hiking, exploring, bird watching, fishing. I’ve always got my camera and coffee with me and I can’t resist a sunrise or sunset. I’m independent by nature and love finding new places to explore.
A little extra about me:
I’m 48, single and a non-smoker.
I enjoy looking after veggie gardens and even find mowing the lawn satisfying.
I have experience with pool maintenance, comfortable checking water tank levels and have picked up how to use a generator on a rural stay.
I can’t resist taking cute pet pictures, so get ready for a steady stream of photo updates while you’re away.
Available for house and pet sitting during Victorian school holidays (happy to travel interstate if given notice for flights/driving)

I’d love the chance to care for your pets and home. I look forward to hearing from you.
Dee
