Hello,
We are Brenda & Garry, happily married retired couple.
Both non-smokers.
We sold our home in Parkes, Central West NSW, where we had lived for 43 years. We have spent since 2021 house/pet sitting in NSW around the Newcastle, Central Coast, North Coast areas, and also several sits in QLD. We intend to spend from February 2026 to August 2026 housesitting and travelling in our van in QLD. We have family living near Brisbane to park our van when we don’t need it.
We have been enjoying taking care of pets and homes/gardens. Have been lucky to care for a lot of adorable animals and love meeting wonderful owners.
We are both animal lovers. ‘Life is better with pets’. We don’t have our own pets now so will pass our loving attention to yours.
We prefer to do sits of 3 weeks or longer but have done return sits for shorter periods.
Garry was a Tanker Truck Driver who worked for the same company for 35 years. He is also a home handyman, ‘Mr fix it’ which came in handy at times as I had done Child Minding at our home for many years.
Garry and I are happy to walk your dog, cuddle your cat, feed your fish and love your babies. As well as care for your home as if it were our own.
We will take extreme pride in keeping your home/garden clean, neat & tidy & your babies relaxed & happy.
You can relax and enjoy your time away. And rest assured that when you return it will be to a clean and happy household.

“Brenda and Garry were awesome. They minded my two fur babies for almost three weeks while I was away and I returned home to extremely happy cats and my house was in amazing order and clean and lots of extra household chores completed out of the goodness of their heart. Brenda kept in touch with me thru WhatsApp sending me photos and updates of my babies. She had great communication and I would absolutely use her again. I would not hesitate recommending Brenda and Garry to look after your pets and home and be confident that they take care of it all as if they were their own. I just wish they made the trek to Qld more often to housesit.”

“Brenda and Garry have spent the last 6 weeks looking after my kitty and home and I cannot speak more highly of them both. It was so nice to go away feeling confident everything was in good hands and when I returned that could not of been truer. They lovingly looked after everything, better than I do, taking care of any unexpected issues! I'm fairly sure my cat misses them already! So many thanks to you both.”

“This couple come highly recommended by us. The house and garden are left meticulously clean. Lawn mowed and edges done. Our babies love them and that is the most important when you are gone for 5 weeks. They took Minnie walking everywhere they went. They even have a meal ready for us on our return. We do cook for them on their arrival So they are the best we have had in such a long time”

“Thank you Brenda and Garry! Lucy, our dog had the most incredible time while on her staycation with Brenda and Garry. I had regular photos of her at the beach and being included in there adventures. I came home to a perfectly clean house and my lawn was mowed ✔️. I couldn’t recommend you guys highly enough and I’m hoping our paths will cross again in the future. Lucy misses you both so much already!”
