We both retired years ago, healthy and active, love to dance, don't smoke, own our own home.

Both of us have had pets: cats and dogs, horses, over the years. We now enjoy looking after other peoples homes and pets when they need to travel somewhere. We enjoy walks, so taking dogs, or cat cuddling, is all part of the fun.
Leo had a 30 year career with OMC in computers and systems and inventory control. Sandra was a teacher with IM children with the NSW Education department for 40 years.
We are both handy in tools, and problem solving.
We have had house sitters stay in our own home in the past, so we understand the feeling of trust that house sitters need with their pets and their property.
We want to visit this great country of ours. We have done some caravanning, and a lot of cruising. However Covid has put the brakes on that. Following that has been a very sick grandson, our focus has been on his health, and we also volunteer to help families doing it tough with organisations such as Second Bite, Shire Hampers and Salvation Army.
Our aim is to travel and look after the house and pets, and during the day see the local area and tourist spots etc, that one might miss if you just drove through driving from A to B. Every house sit so far has had a different experience.
For example, staying in the Blue Mountains allowed us to visit all the townships and points of interest. Also, down in the Riverina, exposure to Rice and Cotton farms opened our eyes to a whole different world that city folks don't get to see, as well as doing odd jobs around a farm like driving a tractor, a John Deer Header, etc.
On your home front, cats and dogs do need some cleaning up after them, goes with the territory. Sometimes tablets need administering etc. But the rewards with the animals far outweigh the effort put in.
Our references often say that we leave their house cleaner than they left in the 1st place. All our references are 5 stars, please check us out.
Where possible we try to meet the owners before the house sit, a meet n greet gives both parties a chance to checkout the 'other'. We can even have a zoom meeting online. We bring our own linen food & cleaning materials.
