Hi ,
My hubby and I started house- sitting about 5 and a half years ago. We have enjoyed it tremendously as it has given us the opportunity to see and experience the different suburbs in and around Perth. We have had fun looking after the different breeds of dogs and cats on our various house sits and getting to know their individual quirks:) We also become quite attached to them on our stays :)
We both come from professional backgrounds, myself as a Banker and Pete as an Electrical Engineer, however we are both retired now. Should you wish to meet us please contact me on phone or our email.

“Purdy & Pete were an excellent fit for our pets and our home for our 7 week overseas trip. Both our cat and dog seemed to settle down with no issues transferring their affections to this couple. They were easy to get on with, very good and effective at communicating with us and dealt with a few hiccups along the way (that were totally out of anyone’s control) professionally and effectively. Our home looked well cared for with a welcoming meal in the fridge on arrival and our pets showed no signs of having missed us. We will certainly ask Purdy & Pete for a next trip we may be planning soon.”

“Purdy and Pete were excellent and did a fantastic job while sitting my house and cat in April/May 2024. We had regular contact while I was away plus I received several photos of Phoebe looking extremely spoilt and well cared for. I am very pleased to recommend Purdy and Pete for any house/pet sitting requirements you may have and I would be very happy to ask them to house sit my home again on any future ocassions. On arriving home, I found the house and outside areas all very clean and tidy (in fact, in a much better state than when I left !) Purdy and Pete are also a very nice couple and nothing was too much trouble - always very agreeable and they have a very responsible attitude. All in all, I could not be happier with the outcome. “Purdy & Pete were just wonderful to deal with during our entire house sit process. They were so friendly and we knew our house would be well looked after. We got updates during our stay of our dog Tango and it was also reassuring to hear that tango cosied up to them as time went on. When we arrived back our place was spotless, cleaner than when we left it! We wound gladly have them house sit again and recommend them wholeheartedly.”

“A big thank you to Purdy and Pete who looked after my House, Garden with many Pot plants and my Dog Marli that needed walking twice a day while I was away for a month.Came home to a very clean and and well cared for house. The Garden was tidy and well watered and Lawn moved. Marli was happy and well looked after.Can very highly recommend Purdy and Pete Thank you”
