We are Anna & Duncan from a small beautiful coastal area located on the northeast coast of Australia, not far from the famous Byron Bay.
We have recently returned from a 7-month trip around Europe travelling and working, whilst also visiting Duncan's family in Leeds (UK). While we are excited about returning to our beautiful country, we are also looking for opportunities to keep our explorations going a little bit longer before we move back into our home.
A little bit about us:
I (Anna) am 39 years old and I run my own graphic design business. As I work for myself, I mainly work from home.
I am a lover of all animals and find them incredibly healing. They make me happy and bring me lots of joy. I am that girl at a gathering that is sitting on the floor patting a dog while everyone else is mingling.
Duncan works as an operation & reservations manager for a local Byron Bay company running beautiful horse rides on the beach and is originally from Leeds, UK. Outside of that, he is a talented musician and loves to surf.
We both love nature, exploring, meeting new people and seeing new places.
We own our own property, which is currently rented by lovely tenants until we decide to return home. We are incredibly house proud and know what it takes to look after a property. We are both extremely tidy (Duncan is a bit OCD) and respectful of people’s homes - our Airbnb feedback is usually ‘it was as if they weren’t even there’.
We both have extensive experience with pets and have owned animals all our lives whilst also being on speed dial with friends for regular pet sits. We predominantly have experience with cats & dogs and a small amount of experience with horses.
We have done a bit of house sitting while travelling through the UK and have been house sitting since we have returned to Australia, and I (Anna), have also done some pet sitting previously through a company called Mad Paws in Australia.
