We have learned from wide experience over many years and in diverse situations, and therefore we will most likely be able to assist you to go away totally carefree knowing that all is under control in your home until you return.
Firstly, we are both healthy and non-smokers. We like our surroundings tidy inside and out and are most happy to care for pets and gardens - this is after all the very basics of our own life experiences!
We have always been economic with water, and electricity and that being inbred would also apply anywhere that we are entrusted to take care of a property.
We have cultivated wonderful gardens - vegetables, flowers, trees. Have always enjoyed the wild animals and birds that have been encouraged to visit us. We keep fit, take pride in our home and are essentially home bodies and that could very much be enhanced by caring for your pets that need and yearn for kind human company.
We have had experience with dogs, cats, alpacas, chooks, geese, ducks, guinea fowl, turkeys, honey bees, native bees, snakes, pond fish, goats, cattle, and water dragons!
We do not have much hands on experience with horses, cattle, etc and maybe consider it too late to try. :) However, filling water troughs and feeding is quite ok.
We are a couple of 48 years having met, lived and worked in Sydney (Russel Lea) an accountant and a pharmacist, but then we threw caution to the winds and became orchardists, geese breeders and kelpie owners on our farm in Mullumbimby NSW, (where we built a home up a mountain). Later we moved to Tallai, Gold Coast acreage with the dogs and had more geese and ducks.
We then lived for 18 years on a property with a large garden and pool in Robina, Gold Coast where we kept chooks, pond fish and bred native bees.
We have now moved to Toowoomba and into a new home (with our bees) in an over 50's village. Here we have a tiny personal garden, ( although Keith has been gardening head in the community vegetable gardens) , no pets and very little to maintain - and we do so miss it! Hence the travelling.
Home owners who engage us can be sure of regular updates while they are away and it is interesting that in over 50% of our sits we do not even meet the owners!
Keith has a police clearance.

Some guidance please about dog situations we have uncomfortably been forced to cope with for the duration of a sit but will now not tolerate, (remembering how we took pride in our well trained animals):
* If your "dogs" are really untrained puppies, we would appreciate being advised.
* We will not have any dogs sleep with us or on our bed, but cuddles on a couch are a most definite PLUS. Hey this is one reason we do this!
* Smelly dogs that have apparently never been bathed.
* Dogs that steal food from tables/benches.
Regarding Security Cameras. ( Per Mindahome Conditions)
1. Internal Cameras
We will not take care of homes with internal cameras that are operating. They must be turned off prior to our arrival.
Audible recording must likewise be disabled during our stay.
2. External Cameras and All Internal/External Security Measures
We need advice as to the reason for these cameras/ security equipment and what is being monitored and their locations. They must not survey private areas such as pools/spas and audio recording must be disabled.
