Neat and tidy, pet loving, mature solo female Australian. I’m on an adventure in this glorious gap time - my kids are launched, no grandkids yet and my parents are well!
I enjoy the company of dogs and cats. Much of my work is now online so I'm home a lot, which is perfect if your pets enjoy having someone around.
For a longer house sit, I like to arrive a day or 2 early to a house/pet sit so I can observe your fur babies routine. A list of their needs is useful, but I'm finding its so helpful to see you in action with them, so I can maintain their routines as much as possible.
I've taken care of pets with complex needs, including a blind dog who needed twice daily injections of insulin.
I'm very responsible, neat and tidy.
I enjoy cooking, daily yoga and pottering in the garden.
I moved from Canada to Melbourne in 1994. In 2021 my youngest son left home. I recognized that I have a sweet opportunity to be adventurous. And so that's what I'm doing.
I closed my home based massage business in Melbourne and converted my little Hyundai Getz into a vehicle I can sleep in .
It's turning out to be a great vehicle to transport me between house/pet sits and other HelpX exchanges.
Hopefully I'll be the perfect house/pet sitter for you.
