Hello! We are two sisters, Roseanna and Juliet in our forties travelling Queensland currently.
We are both home owners and have used house sitters to mind our homes and dogs so I understand the trust that one ensues when opening home and beloved pets to a stranger.
I (Juliet) have been a foster carer for animal rescues and have periods of my life when I have cared for up to five dogs at a time.
Sick, old and injured are my (Juliet) specialty. While my profession is human nursing, most of the skills are transferable to animals so if your pets are special needs, I'm your woman.
I am especially fond of dogs. I prioritise mental well being. Regular exercise and mental stimulation are a key focus for any pets I care for.
I focus on regular exercise to reduce anxiety, balance temperament and to initiate a bond between myself and the dog I am caring for.
I (Roseanna) am a kindergarten teacher, home owner and retired pet owner. I LOVE gardening and pottering around doting over small animals. I have cared extensively for guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, cats, pigs, cattle and sheep! I love nature and animals.
We both use positive behaviour reinforcement methods only for animal training, we will be gentle and kind with your pets.
We both work casually, I (Juliet) do casual nursing shifts at different hospitals, and Roseanna in childcare centres. Your animals will not be left alone.
