Marcel and I are a semi-retired, professional couple living in the Riverina. We both work from home so your pets will have a lot of love, walks and company during our house sit. In the past few years we have come to really enjoy country living and are waiting for our dream home to become available. In the meantime we'll be getting to know other parts of the state by travelling and house sitting. We're non-smokers, tidy and reliable. We don't have pets but are vicarious animal lovers.

“This is about the 5th occasion that Anita and Marcel have looked after our home and animals. We continue to approach them everytime we require a house sitter as the are truely amazing people. They care for our home and animals so well that we travel in peace knowing it is in safe hands. Their communication is impeccable, problem solving and able to troubleshoot most issues which arise with the capability to enact solutions. This recent house sit was about three months in total with a small gap in the middle when we returned home for a week or two. They had challenges over summer with the heat, animals, water and our new puppy chewing irrigation around the block. All managed well and we returned to a spotless house. We hope Anita and Marcel are always available for our house sits and we have been lucky enough to have them.”

“This follows on from my previous review for Anita and Marcel. By far the best house sitters we have had, our animals, garden and house are always in safe hands. We always message them first with all future trips away, in hope they are available. Highly recommended and just about to send our 2026 dates through to them to hopefully get in early :)”

“Anita and Marcel were fabulous house sitters and looked after our very old and deaf dog so well! We were able to relax and enjoy our holiday without worrying about her, with regular updates and photos sent. Our house was immaculate on our return. “Anita and Marcel are our go-to house sitters. We typically contact them prior to our listing going live as we know they care for our home and pets as well, if not better than we do :) The house was left clean, tidy and at a state we could walk in pour a wine and sit back to relax as soon as we got home. The animals and gardens were well cared for. Communication is free flowing and faultless. We highly recommend Anita and Marcel if you are looking for kind, friendly and safe sitters. Thank you both again. Will keep you posted for our next trip away.”
