We’re a friendly professional couple (38 and 43) looking for house sitting opportunities in Melbourne. Both animal lovers - we’ve had beloved cats, dogs and horses all through our lives and lost our old rescue boxer X Rocky to old age in 2022. After this we decided to give up renting and started housesitting to save for our own home. We’re tidy and house proud and have been housesitting via Mindahome and Trusted Housesitters since July 2022. We’ve been together for thirteen years and have lived in Melbourne and the Yarra Valley as well as many housesitting positions in Victoria and NSW. We have experience caring for all sorts of pets (including rescue dogs and cats), plants and homes. Libby is a keen gardener and loves outdoor plants, especially growing veggies and Dan loves tending indoor plants. We are both lawyers and able to work remotely which means between us there will be someone at home with your pets during the day. Non-smokers and both triple vaccinated. Responsible and respectful - we understand the importance of maintaining your home as you left it. We can provide Police checks and references for your peace of mind. In our spare time we enjoy watching movies, going for walks and eating good food. We also enjoy scuba diving and hiking when we’re not housesitting, anything to get outdoors.
