I am in my late 70s, healthy and active. Currently living in the Adelaide Hills. I have three years plus of pet sitting and travelled to Victoria and New South Wales. I have stayed in Airbnb housing at various times since 2016, In Australia, the US and Canada, and built up an excellent profile. I am a non smoker. I am fully aware that when I am in another persons house, that I should limit and restrict myself to the areas required for my living and have full respect for privacy. I have, I think, a high level of morality and responsibility. This includes maintenance, hygiene and the caring of animals entrusted to me.
I have noted in applications that some reassurance is sometimes needed on character and identity. For identity, I have a passport, drivers license, pension concession card, Medicare and bank statements. I recently returned from 5 years residency in the US. Before taking up residency, I was subjected to a thorough police background check. I still have the documentation.
HOUSE SITTING EXPERIENCE
I have been house sitting since June 2022. As well as the experiences I have accumulated while house sitting, I can draw on life skills, that incorporate, house keeping and caring of animals. I am building up a profile with house sitting. Dogs, cats, chickens, geese, and not to forget the goldfish. I have, throughout life, been in other peoples properties for extended periods, including instances of looking after pets. This has included family and friends. My sense of professionalism and keeping to agreements is strongly entrenched. I value being reliable and trustworthy.
