I Have been housesitting for several years, and have completed more than 30 Agency Housesitting assignments, looking after private homes with dogs, cats and one farm with horses. I have met some wonderful people in the process making friends both human and animal. For me Housesitting is an enjoyable experience because I love both animals and travelling to new places.
I have had a border collie , two scotch collies and one golden retriever. I no longer have any pets of my own.
I have been an avid gardener in my time and once a keen grower of organic vegetables, so I am sensitive to the watering needs of plants.
I first started working in the world of shipping inmy younger days, and later started my own office cleaning business and also some landscaping. I have also worked in a disability workshop.
I am a Buddhist, a vegetarian and also do reflexology, and creative writing.
I am a non smoker and non drinker.
