I'm an active 60 something who walks at least an hour every day, preferably with dogs to show me around their walking tracks and beaches. Working from a home, I d like to have animals around for company and entertainment.

I'm house trained and at home minding gardens.
I have a preference for socialising with mid-sized animals, and happy tending larger ones, so long as they are tame or trained.
After years of walking rescue dogs and sitting rescue cats, I'm as comfortable with the enthusiasm of young animals as much as the timidity of rescued ones.

I've also run a BNB and have renovated 5 houses, so can consider any small jobs that need attention during my stay. A little light) gardening is a pleasure not a chore.

“If anyone is contemplating booking Simon for a house sit Do it ?. We away for 3 weeks and came home to a happy fit dog and a mowed lawn, not forgetting two curry’s in the fridge. House was spotless and Simon walked our dog at least twice a day as all our neighbours seemed to know him when we got home cheers”

“We were very happy to have Simon look after our house and pets while we were overseas for 2 weeks. It was very reassuring to have someone as reliable as Simon holding the forte for us. “We could not have asked for a better house & pet sitter with Simon. He certainly went above and beyond our expectations. Our Jack Russel, Jerry, who is 16years old is a little spoiled and Simon took such good care of him. Lots of walks and company which is exactly what we were hoping for. He was even looking for Simon after he left. The house was immaculate when we got home, the yard perfect and there were some essentials (bread, milk & beer) in the fridge along with a home cooked meal. Simon, kept in contact, with photos, the whole time we were overseas via WhatsApp so we were never worried about how things were going. We would recommend Simon without reservation to anyone who is looking for someone professional, kind and well mannered to look after their home and/or pets. I am more than happy to speak to anyone.”
