Animal lovers. Non-smokers. My husband is from a farming background and I grew up in Texas. We have decided to do house sitting for something different whilst enjoying the company of furry friends.

Our housesits have included minding dogs, cats, horses, cattle, Alpacas, goats, donkeys, kangaroos and a variety of birds.

We are both particular, well presented, warm hearted and enjoy animals! We understand the importance of taking good care of well loved animals.

“Robin and John were excellent sitters and had regular contact while away. Unfortunately, we were not able to meet beforehand, however all instructions were met without any problems. My dog, Teddy was well cared for, happy and calm. The garden was watered as instructed and we came back to a clean and tidy home. I highly recommend Robin and John and hope to have them return for future sits.”

“0/5. They came and spent one night with us and then left. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. No thought of how they ruined our holiday. Beware of them. My house is an award winning home and unless you can supply them with 2 king size honeymoon suites with with double walk in robes and room service they will deem your house unacceptable. “Robyn and John, We had a good holiday and you looked after our house. We both helped each other out at the last moment, as your sit was cancelled and our sitter was cancelled (farm sitters stroke). Thank you for looking after our house and animals. However, I was disappointed that you missed the point in our profile we don’t have WiFi, and that your husbands phone could not get data (internet) I told you we don’t have Telstra, only Optus. You were fine with that. (If there was a problem I would have left my spare phone with SIM card, or bought a dongle for you to use) As a result, our communication (WhatsApp) was trying and I was sometimes upset with your comments. This is our first time using Mindahome. We have had yearly farm sitters for the last 6 years without any problems using other sites.”

“John and Robin were very reliable house sitters who gave exceptional care to our two little dogs Max and Lucy. At one stage Max was a little off colour so John took him to our local vet just to be sure. I am sure John and Robin would have liked to stay indefinitely as they easily fitted into our very friendly community - they really enjoyed a morning coffee on our front verandah, talking to all our neighbours as they walked by. Sorry John - our house is not for sale!”

“Robin & John are a lovely couple who enjoy staying in many different places around the East coast of Australia, We found them both very friendly and most of all, Our Rhodesian Ridge Back, Bob who is almost 10 was well looked after. He is a very fastidious dog and developed a good relationship with Robin after a few days. The house and garden was left clean and tidy and even the lawn had been mowed , Robin also cooked and a beautiful fresh prepared dinner for our arrival back home.
