Hi, I’m a retired, caring friendly & easygoing person who loves all animals great & small as well as being a passionate gardener.
After living in Italy for 22 years, I have
returned back home here in Williamstown & in the past six years, I’ve been house/pet sitting regularly on a short term basis for two local households with their adorable cat & dogs.
I’ve had many years of experience with house/pet sits in Italy too, which also included small farm animals at the larger country estates and various agriturismo in many regions such as Lazio, Toscana (Tuscany), Umbria & Marche. A wealth of experience I’ll never forget.
Also, plenty of experience with family pet care, ie. post surgery care, medications, special diets etc.
I love dog walking and generally engaging with pets at home. Communication is key as they’re like us, they need to be reassured and feel the love…so lots of playing & cuddles.
I love to see them happy and making them feel safe and secure in their own environment which brings out the best in them.
I am pleased to have joined MindaHome as i can now enjoy more long term house/pet sits.
I am clean, dependable and respect other people’s property as if it were my own. By the same token, I need to feel safe & comfortable with the dwellings provided by you.
I bring with me my own bedding/towels/toiletries & dare I say, my own stash of cleaning products on longer sits.
Whilst you’re away, you can feel confident that i will be that some one who will keep the house & garden tip-top and your furry loved ones can depend on me to keep them smiling….so updates & pics will be sent regularly as this is what I would want if I left my pet in someone else’s care.

I enjoy taking long walks (especially coastal), gardening, reading, cooking, movies and painting when time permits.
I am a non smoker.

“Miriam was an absolute gem from the start. Before the sit, we arranged a meet-and-greet and stayed in touch via text and calls, which made us feel completely at ease before our holiday. While we were away, she kept us updated with regular messages and photos—such a comfort to see our Daphne happy and well cared for. We returned to a spotless home; everything was clean and tidy, and she even watered the plants. Miriam treated both our house and Daphne as if they were her own. She's trustworthy, kind, and clearly passionate about what she does. We were so impressed that we're already planning our next trip with her in mind. Highly recommended!”

“We were so lucky to have Miriam look after our dogs and our home for us for 2 weeks. She has a lovely warm personality and absolutely adores the dogs. The boys took to her easily and she kept us updated regularly on how they were and what she would be doing with them. We knew our dogs and our home were in very good hands. We came home to our pristine and our dogs happy!”

“Miriam provided excellent care for Polly and Alfie over her short 4-day stay. She sent us updates and picture a couple of times a day and left the house very clean and tidy. We were able to enjoy our long weekend away with family, knowing the dogs and the house were in good hands. I would highly recommend her.”

“Miriam is incredible! Our dog bonded really well with Miriam due to her calm and friendly personality. She administered Bron's medication every day, and walker her exactly as we requested. While we were away, Miriam was great at staying in touch with us and sending photos of their adventures, which gave us peace of mind and knew that she was taking care of the house and Bron. The house was immaculate when we returned which made for such a stress free return. We will absolutely call Miriam again when we're away and hopefully she's free to look after Bron and the house.”
