Moving back to Australia in 2021 after living in Canada for many years ... and more recently ... spending the last five months of 2025 back in Canada visiting my family (and housesitting) ... i have been blessed to work remotely, which has given me the freedom to explore home while helping others who are off on their own adventures :-)
My house/pet-sitting adventure started in Canada and has continued here in Australia … originally all by word-of-mouth ... and then i discovered Mind-a-Home.
My experience includes looking after small granny flats, suburban homes, luxury homes in gated communities and hobby farms on small to medium acreages ... caring for cats, dogs, chickens, turkeys, fish, goats, rabbits, miniature horses and miniature donkeys.
While i am adventurous and love to travel ... i am also a home-body, completely comfortable with my own company. Caring, strong, capable and independent … mature in years and young-at-heart … honest and reliable ... that's me ... :-)
i am artsy-fartsy ... i love to sew ... i dabble in knitting and crochet ... i have a love of photography ... scrapbooked when my kids were little ... i doodle, love colouring in and neurographic art ... :-). i can sit for hours with a good book that takes me away to far-away places.
i appreciate the workmanship and beauty of old trucks, classic muscle cars and motorbikes.
Being outside in nature is the BEST ... and i geocache whenever i can.
