We are a reliable, honest and active couple, looking forward to tend the needs of your pets requirements.
Having recently lost our beloved golden retriever Sasha ?, we are looking to do a bit of travelling and loving your pets on our way. We have had a lifetime of experiences looking after family, friends and our own loving pets.
We will treat your pets and home with respect as if they were our own.
We are both non smokers.

“We found Shirl and Pete to be wonderful housesitters, we were initially quite concerned leaving our 3 year old Schnauzer as she had recently lost her mate. Mindful of this Shirl sent us lots of photos of our girl enjoying being very well looked after. Our home was as we left it and we found the whole experience to be seamless and highly recommend Shirl and Pete to look after your property and Pets. David and Meredith”

“I don't think I can praise Shirl and Pete enough in only 150 words. I have two shy cats, and an old dog, a garden full of veggies and a big house. During the lead up, communication was great. We got regular updates on our time away and photos from the pets. They left our home immaculate, our bed was made up and they even left a bottle of wine for us. Our veggies were well watered and in abundance, Shirl and Pete even did a bit of the weeding I hadn't got to before we left. We can't speak highly enough of them. I hope they would like to revisit Canberra soon. Beautiful People!”

“Shirley and Pete are more like friends they have now done a few sits for us and are kind and wonderful to our cats, care for the wildlife at Sussex and and home sparkling clean (cleaner than I would have it!) and left us a thank you gift! Highly recommend these two wonderful people to do your house sits and they are most welcome back any time for a visit or a sit.”

“10/10 recommend Shirley and Pete! They were fantastic with our pets. We came home to calm, happy pets. They walked the dog, looked after our 2 parrots, 6 rabbits (including resourcefully managing an escapee), and to top it all off our very shy cat Myrtie bonded with them straight away!! Amazing. You have to be great to gets Myrtie’s tick of approval Shirley snd Pete left our house spotless (it didn’t even look like they’d been there. Great communication before, during, and after. They even left us a card and chocolates for the kids! Can’t recommend them highly enough.”
