Happy, healthy, self-sufficient, capable, trustworthy & responsible single female with long past career as Veterinary Nurse (including animal rescue & shelter work). I adore animals & love continuing to work closely with them - but I’m equally as happy minding homes/properties only without animal care required.
Longer sits - especially rural - have become my specialty, as I have much experience with long term care of pets and properties. Will consider shorter sits when available.
House/pet sitting for me is a lovely way to give people peace of mind so they can relax & concentrate on their time away & my many excellent reviews & repeat clients reflect this. I’ve had clients who organise their holidays around my availability, which is a testament to the premium service I provide. You will receive my full service in your home for the duration of your sit, I am committed to providing genuine affection, enrichment & consistency to pets, plus excellent security & upkeep of your home & property. I’m definitely a quiet homebody, who enjoys reading, walks in nature, early nights & waking up with the sun. I’m energy conscious & always frugal with all utility usage. I do not have guests in your home.
I enjoy & appreciate sitting for house proud clients who require meticulous upkeep & attention to detail.
Being vegetarian & health conscious, I supply all my own food & toiletries & have my own bedding if needed.
Can administer all medications (tablets/injections etc). All exercise & feeding routines adhered to & am fine with preparing meat for pet food. Experienced with all animals; dogs, cats, birds, rabbits/guinea pigs, fish, reptiles, horses, hobby farms, livestock.
Own reliable 4wd & can have animals in my car for park/beach/vet trips if needed.
I will travel to meet you & your pets prior to sit, run through all routines & requirements & maintain as much contact as you require throughout

“Kerry was absolutely fantastic.From the moment we decided she was messaging and staying in contact. She came to meet our little Juno before our holiday and even on the day we were leaving she came beforehand and suggested we take him for a walk together so he is familiar with her. She is such a beautiful person. We had the best trip without any stress all thanks to her. She sent photos to us of Juno and kept us up to date, took him for walks, cuddled him and really took care of him and took our experience with her to another level. “From the first moment we made contact with Kerry we knew she was the right sitter for us. Kerry kept in contact before the sitting and arrived on time on the day. Kerry took great care of our cat China, followed our instructions and was a home body which China loved. Also, Kerry was happy to have China sleep on her bed. (And we know he can be an annoying sleeping buddy). Kerry kept in regular contact while we were away, sending us pictures and giving us peace of mind. We came home to an extremely clean home and a happy cat. China waited for Kerry to come home the day she left and didn’t sleep with us. Letting us know what a great connection the two of them had made. Would love Kerry to sit every time we are away. Highly recommend.”
