My wife and I are 3 years retired. We are both 62 years old and flexible with availability. We are both animal lovers. Over the past 30 years we have had 3 dogs, (Lab/cross, Rottweiler and a rescue dog - Heeler Cross Collie) that we loved and cared for very much. We always enjoyed walking our dogs 5 to 7km 5 to 7 days a week. Our last dog, Heeler Cross Collie has sadly passed. So since retiring we have decided not to get another dog due to our hopes to do more travel.
We are located in a lifestyle village Albury NSW. We often look after our next-door neighbour’s cat who recently passed and their dog a Jack Russell. He sleeps beside our bed at night, and we walk him daily. We also look after our family and friend’s animals which are 2 x dachshunds, kelpie, Italian greyhound, groodle and budgies. We always kept in contact with updates and photos while they were away.
We used to live in a large house and took pride in tidiness and maintained a large garden. Recently we have downsized to a lifestyle village which gives us more time to get involved in house sitting. We are a caring and trustworthy non-smoking couple that would look after your beloved pet and home as it was our own.
