Enjoying travelling this great country while I'm still young enough to enjoy it.
Still working as I travel so portable massage table is in the van
Enjoy the quiet of the bush and also meeting so many wonderful people as I travel.
I really enjoy small country towns and rural housesits.
I have been doing housesits for the last two & 1/2 years and really enjoy the diversity of people that I meet. From rainforest to cities, small country towns and farms, I have enjoyed them all. Each sit has its own special animals and features that I will remember for a long time.

I have lived off grid so conserving water, power etc is not an issue. Neither is the isolation(as some people call it) as I am happy with my own company, and I mix well with others.

“Gerard was such a welcome house sitter as he did more than just look after animals due to our property being 500acs. Gerard checked on fences, completed feral control, fed and checked cattle and generally maintained the property. Gerard communicated appropriately and took great care of everything and we never once were concerned about how things were 'at hone' while we travelled for 4mths. I couldn't recommend Gerard highly enough for any house sit he applies.”

“Gerard took great care of our animals and home. He was fortunately available a couple of days before we left which made handover easier, although his experience clearly shows as he took it all in his stride. My shy cat even came to him for pats by the 2nd week of his housesit, so he has the tick of approval from all the animals. House was spotless on our return, and the veggie garden well looked after. We grew snow peas! No hesitation in recommending Gerard and hope to have him back again.”

“I cannot rate Gerard highly enough, nothing was too much trouble, he worked absolute miracles with my very nervous German shepherd, who is very nervous, and had her eating out of his hand. The house was spotless, he did a wonderful repair to my chook shed roof as during his stay there were some extreme winds. All the animals were wonderfully cared for with heaps of cuddles and fuss. I would recommend him to anyone who requires fantastic service”

“Gerard’s communication leading up to the sit was great. He came to meet us and familiarise himself with the property and our animals took an immediate liking to him, as did we. He looked after the place and our animals really well while we were away. It was great peace of mind while we were away that Gerard was here looking after things for us and kept us posted that everything was ok. Would highly recommend Gerard for any sit which he applies.”
