We are now retired, but active and healthy (61&62yrs). Between us we own our own homes, one on acerage and one in suburbia. We have lived in big homes with pools, small homes and units. There are few types of animals we haven't owned and/or cared for.
Julie has experience in everything from being an Air Traffic Controller, teacher aide, Librarian and now mine operator. Mark is a career senior public servant who managed large scale budgets and 100's of staff. To keep his sanity he got out of the office regularly to maintain his Qld plumber/drainer licence. We both also has experience with dairy cattle and milking, beef cattle and sheep. We are proficent motor bike riders (Road and Off road).
Whilst we have travelled extensively we are now longing to slow down and repay some of the wonderful deeds done for us by house sitters and pet carers. It's our turn to allow you to take your holidays in peace and know your pets and/or property will be in good hands. We are prepared to travel anywhere, just give us some notice. We can do as little as look after domestic house and animals through to hobby farms and small commercial farms. We have both trade and business experience and are licensed to drive motor bikes, buses, trucks, tractors, fork lifts to name a few. Julie currently operates CAT777 heavy mine trucks.
We aim to stay as happy and healthy as possible whilst meeting new people and taking on new challenges.
