We are a healthy, fully vaccinated, non-smoking, and responsible couple, both having just turned 60, who are extremely clean and tidy, own our own home, neighbourhood friendly and will have the utmost respect for your home and possessions.

We have been professionally housesitting full-time since February 2024, most of these with pets. Whilst we have lived in Darwin for many years, we purchased acreage in Maleny and are currently developing the site with a shed being built for us to live in. During this time, we are looking for house sits on the Sunshine Coast, preferably around the Maleny area, so that we can be nearby our development.

Noel is a civil engineer and has now been retired for more than five years. Wendy was an IT Contract Manager but has very recently retired. We love the Queensland lifestyle, having both grown up here. We enjoy gardening and take pride in keeping our properties well maintained. We're quite practical and skilled too having undertaken several renovations on investment properties over recent years. We have a small classic car collection and have our own 4WD vehicle which is kept on the Sunshine Coast.

As experienced home owners and owners of investment properties, we understand a homeowner's requirements and concerns. With our experience and expertise, you can:

“Wendy and Noel were the perfect house sitters and we are thankful for our good fortune in having them stay in our home for 6 weeks. Coming home after a long time away was an absolute pleasure for us as the house was immaculate, our two fur babies were happy and healthy and Wendy and Noel provided us with fresh bread and milk. After a long flight and a late time getting home, we could not have come back to anything better or easier. Our gardens were beautifully maintained and in the days after we got home, we didn't have to worry about anything except our recovery from jet lag. We are so grateful to these two delightful people who I could not recommend high enough to anyone seeking reliable, conscientious and caring house sitters.”

“Wendy and Noel are lovely people and fantastic house and pet sitters. We felt very comfortable leaving our 2 dogs in their care. They looked after and loved them while we were away and we were so pleased to see how happy and settled and the dogs were on our return. They also took great care of our home and we felt that if anything were to "go wrong" they would have had the common sense and competency to do what we would have done. Fortunately nothing did go wrong but we felt confident leaving the house in their care. We would highly recommend them as house sitters and as lovely people.”

“A BIG thankyou to Wendy and Noel! They were very professional, respectful and communication was amazing. Looked after our big dogs with ease and left our house so clean almost thought we opened the wrong door and made the long trip back so much easier by getting us milk, bread and other goodies ready for us. They made our getaway so easy because not once did we stress about our home. Highly recommend over and over again.”
