I am a mature age woman who loves to travel by train or bus around Australia and NZ. I am fit and very healthy. I love meeting new people of all cultures and ages and I have a deep love for all creatures. I have always had cats and dogs throughout my life and take the utmost care in looking after them. In more recent years I've experienced having fish finding them very restful and fascinating. Since WWOOFing I have experienced working with goats and various types of birds, including peacocks. I love to potter in the garden, grow things from seed, read, write, study, and take photos. In my time as a community care worker, I always went the extra mile with maintaining a high standard of care for my clients and their homes. I was a member of WWOOF Aus for 18mnths and have had all successful placements. I have excellent character references over many years, both work and personal. I look forward to meeting you and ensuring your peace of mind that your beloved pets are well cared for and loved and your home is honoured, so that you can enjoy your time away.

“Marilyn was fantastic. She looked after our 5 cats and dog with no issues. We came home to very well looked after and happy pets and the house was immaculate. Probably cleaner than what we left it. She was very accommodating in looking after our diabetic cat and giving her 2 injections daily. I cannot reccommend Marilyn enough and would happily ask here to help us again. “We couldn't be happier with the care our dog, Penelope, received from Marilyn over a period of 16 days. Ahead of the stay, Marilyn stayed in touch with us, giving us peace of mind that she was fully on board for the stay. Whilst we were away, she kept us well-informed with regular, detailed updates on how Penelope was doing, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear she genuinely cared about Penelope’s well-being, providing plenty of attention and affection. When we returned, the house was sparkling clean, and Penelope was happy and healthy. We’re so grateful for her excellent service and will definitely book her again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“We are incredibly fortunate to have found Marilyn - she is a wonderful house sitter! Our home was left in perfect condition and all of our plants and aquariums are thriving. Benny and the Jets, our turtle and the fishies, look as happy as ever. The care and attention to detail were outstanding, and the thoughtful gifts were such a lovely surprise. “Marilyn was absolutely wonderful! She was so attentive to our dog and we knew Masey was in the best of hands. Marilyn goes above and beyond, making sure your pet is well cared for and so they don’t miss you too much whilst away. She followed instructions and also kept our house so clean and tidy. She was punctual and great communicator. We hope to see you again in the future!”
