My name is Victoria, and I am a registered nurse from Sydney. I am a quiet, non-smoking animal lover, and have previously worked as a veterinary nurse & a professional dog walker, combining my two loves of animals & walking. I provide daily pet updates including photos during pet sits.
I am happy to walk dogs twice daily morning & evenings. I have a friend who breeds rag doll cats & I often cat sit for her & help her care for her new litters. I am very familiar with cat-specific requirements including changing kitty litter, brushing, feeding & ensuring safety particularly at night.
I work for an international airline & hold a red Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC card - highest level). For both my nursing registration & my airline work, I have successfully passed all probity/security checks including clear criminal/police record, & working with children check. As an airline employee, I am entitled to staff travel benefits so am able to fly at discounted rates aiding my mobility around the country, even at short notice.
When pet & housesitting, I am able to work remotely from your home or take a break from work and focus on caring for pets & homes.
It is an honour & a privilege to be entrusted with your precious pets & home & I take this position of trust extremely seriously. When given the honour of pet & house sitting, I treat your home like my own & aim to leave in the condition in which I found it, including daily cleaning & a more thorough clean before I leave.
I have always enjoyed caring for animals and find that I get back much more than I give. I appreciate your pets may suffer separation anxiety being apart from you & I focus on providing comfort & security. I also enjoy tending to gardens & plants.
I am a single person with 2 animal-loving twin boys aged 4 yrs who accompany me on pet & housesits. I do not bring any pets. We live in a unit complex that does not allow animals so my boys consider pet sitting a special treat & love helping to care for your pets.
No special arrangements/extra bedrooms are needed as we are able to share one bedroom. The boys are used to mucking in eg camping trips, & are trained to respect other people’s property & appreciate the privilege of pet & housesitting.
