We are a retired couple with a home in Junee, NSW. Since retiring in 2020 we have spent much time travelling in our caravan.
At times this has necessitated both using house sitters for our long absenses from home and also seeking house sits as a means of having a break during our travels. We therefore understand the requirements of house sitting both as home owners and house sitters. We look to care for the homes that we sit in the same manner as we expect our home to be cared for when being occupied by house sitters.
Our past house sits have involved caring for various animals including dogs, cats, chickens, sheep and cattle.
We love all animals and travelled with a greyhound for the first few years. We had him with us during house sits at that time. He was very placid and friendly towards all the anmals we sat. Unfortunately he had to be put down almost two years ago. We now have another greyhound who has much the same attributes.
