We are a friendly, honest and reliable couple, who will treat your home with respect. We are longtime home-owners ourselves and are very house-proud, clean and tidy in our habits.
We’ve rented out our own home to travel Australia for the foreseeable future in our caravan. While travelling, we do a little work here and there, house-sit and pet-sit to enhance our adventure and allow us to spend more time really getting to know places and the locals who live there.

We would love to care for your home and pets while you have a break. We can either stay in your home, or in our van - whichever suits you. We would request access to power and water and of course we would require somewhere to easily park the van.
We have great references available upon request. We look forward to hearing from you!

“Meg and Jim took such great care of our:goats ,chickens and our precious 17 year old Rosie dog on our rural property.They were very friendly and asked all the right questions about how we liked things done.We were able to have a stress free holiday knowing that all was well at home.On our return ,our home was super clean and tidy,wood in the fire box and a quiche in the fridge for us jet lagged travellers . Very thoughtful and appreciated. We would highly recommend Meg and Jim for future house sittings.Our dog Rosie would have happily gone travelling with them when the drove off! “I can highly recommend Meg & Jim for any house sitting position! A last minute change meant that my dog was not at home but I am positive that if she was, she would have been perfectly cared for! From the very start the communication from Meg & Jim was spot on. They arrived on time & I knew from the very start my home would be well looked after. No other sitters have ever left a cooked meal for me upon my return but Meg left a yummy quiche & it lasted me 3 meals…I was so appreciative coming home with a terrible virus. Meg & Jim are salt of the earth people, honest, trustworthy & kind!”

“When we first met Meg and Jim when they arrived for the sit, we all felt like we had known each other for ages.From the very 1st call to the end of the sit we were all very comfortable. Our dogs felt so at ease that they didn’t even lift their heads when we drove out(I had visibility to see). They were very chilled when we arrived home after 2 weeks and still went and sat with their new favourite people. First time for us using this site and extremely happy. Choose Meg & Jim, we can guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Dogs are very intuitive with people, and they certainly loved these two.”
