I'm Julie, a 56-year-old, semi-retired teacher who loves animals and travel so why not have both?

I now provide test supervision and mark English exams all around Australia. I love the flexibility and travel, but I absolutely hate airports and hotels and much prefer being in a home with a furball to talk to and cuddle (if permitted). I also like to cook, which just isn't possible in the hotels my company sends me to!

I'm not really the rural type - I like to go to the gym and explore shops and cafes but, my remote work means that apart from a morning and evening stroll (or search for good coffee), your fur baby will have constant company - And even better if that fur baby likes to walk with me!

If you live in an over 55s village I'm also your person! I'm old enough to fit in and quiet, reliable and responsible. I understand that some villages don't allow visitors to use facilities and I'm ok with that.

I'm incredibly house and yard proud (my kids would say obsessive) so your home will be spotless when you return (inside and out). I love the peace that watering gardens seems to provide, and I can literally solve the worlds problems while escaping into my head while mowing a lawn! So just give me instructions and I'm happy to look after fur babies or green babies.

Please get in touch if I sound like a good fit for you. But....I can already tell you I'm not your person if you require your cat or dog to be put in a small cage and/or locked outside on a cold night. No judgement - I just can't do it, sorry.

“Julie is the absolute gold standard in house and pet sitting! From the moment of meeting I could tell she was everything her ad says and more. I came home to happy cats and house was cleaner than when I left it! Her communication was fantastic and I was able to switch off from home to focus on a tiring work trip away which made going away so much easier knowing my beloved boys and home were so well looked after. I’d have Julie come sit anytime in a heartbeat.”

You are clearly a cat whisperer The house was clean and the boys were very well taken care of. Your constant comms and updates was fantastic and we enjoyed them.
