I am a retired single female Veteran who can no longer afford to pay rent.

I am a non-smoker and very rarely drink.
A baileys now and then.

So I am moving in a new direction and going to enjoy my life as a traveller, and helping other people achieve their travelling dreams while I care for their fur babies as well.

I have previously done housesitting for many years as a nanny, within different location throughout Australia and Europe.

I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, fish and chickens. I was raised on a farm so enjoy the country life too.

I do not, however, weed gardens, mow lawns, or clean pools but I will water plants/ gardens etc and look after your home like it was my own.

I love to travel so I look forward to meeting new people on this site and happy to travel to different locations
I am interested in house sits around the Echuca area. I would like to do the paddle wheeler trip.
Also Blue Mountains area.
And near Werribee.

“We found Jan amazing and so easy to have in our home. Jan also had to deal with family situation while house sitting. and still continued her sitting considering her family situation this was amazing .She kept in touch with our daughter as well as sending photos of our cats A carer also called in for some mail and commented how well the cats were being looked after. This put my husband and myself both at ease while on holiday’s. I would thoroughly recommend Jan for any one looking for a trustworthy reliable sitter. We have 4 cats for her to look after.and even though they are very aloof,Jan did an amazing job.A big thank you from Louise and Peter.”

“Jan took care of our cat and dog for 3 weeks and looked after our house whilst we were on holidays overseas. Our pets were very well cared for and our dog was walked regularly. We received some photos during Jan's stay which was lovely. Jan met with us twice before her stay which was great and we would be very happy to recommend Jan as a pet sand house sitter.”

“When we went to Europe in May we left our house and much loved and spoilt cat in the very capable hands of Jan. We always are a bit nervous when we go away and leave a house and pet sitter in charge but we had absolutely no reason to worry. Jan looked after Pebbles beautifully and treated the house with respect. We came home to a clean and tidy house and a very healthy and happy cat. We really appreciated it that Jan kept us up to date by sending photos and little messages re Pebbles the cat. It was very reassuring and gave us peace of mind so that we could get on and enjoy our holiday without the worry of what was going on at home.
