I know that our animals become family, and I love being able to keep pets happy while their owners are away. I have two tiny Toy Poodles who are very well socialised. After working with animals for decades I have just retired and look forward to some travel using housesitting. Aged pets and health challenges are my specialty as a Vet Nurse, and I love all animals except snakes! Very experienced with horses, livestock, chooks, and adore cats. I was an Army Officer so I keep things tidy, and I am a keen gardener. “Heather stayed in our home for two weeks over the Christmas period to care for our cats and dogs. While the pets were fed, several agreed expectations were not met. Poppy (our Yorkshire Terrier) was only walked once during the two weeks, despite my request for daily walks and brushing. Grooming was also not maintained. I also asked that the cats be brushed regularly, however I found knots in both Ollie’s and Jack’s fur when we returned. I respected Heather’s hesitation about walking our larger dog, Angus, but we do have cameras and from what I observed, the level of care discussed beforehand was not consistently followed. The house was professionally cleaned before her stay, but unfortunately it was not returned in the same condition. 2 out of 5 stars Feeding done ✔️ Walking not done as agreed ❌ Grooming not done ❌ House not returned in expected conditionions ❌”

“Heather looked after our property and my 2 quarter horses whilst we were away for 7 weeks during the 2025 Winter. Upon our return my horses were calm, brushed nicely, not stressed and relaxed which is exactly what you want to come home to. Heather also had no issues with giving the horses their medications. Our house was also well looked after. I highly recommend Heather and her 2 beautiful tiny (very cute, friendly) dogs for anyone who is looking for a reliable house sitter who knows what they are doing. We couldn't have been happier with Heather and the two pups and we would definitely book her again to look after our property and the horses”

“Heather took very good care of our 1 year old dog Baxter and he especially enjoyed his time with her 2 dogs Closeau and Chanel. While we were away for a month communication and updates were regular and informative. When we returned home every thing was in order and Baxter was healthy and happy. We would recommend Heather to anyone who requires their pet(s) to be looked after and their home kept in a sound condition. Heather is a very easy person to communicate and work with.”
