Hello, we are Mike and Tina, a retired couple who have our own home in a retirement village in Sippy Downs, Sunshine Coast.
2023/2024 saw us travelling again in SE Asia. We have loved our time, loved the food and the different cultures of the various countries we have visited.
Mike is retired after a career in Environmental Management and more recently as an Environmental Editor. Tina is retired from her hospitality role in aged care, after a career in medical and realestate sales. We have no dependents, are non-smokers and very light drinkers.
As homeowners ourselves, we want to assure you that we will look after your animal family, home, pool and garden, as if they were our own. We have owned investment properties and understand what it is like to trust your place to relative strangers.
Mike loves gardening (orchids a specialty!), and Tina is a natural housekeeper. The homes that we have rented have been left in a cleaner condition than when we first moved in!
We love our home and pet-sits as we like to explore different locations, but most of all, we love to share our time with the animals.
In 2022, we looked after a beautiful dog and two kitties on the Gold Coast, and we returned to Bangkok, looking after our fur client, Mutley for a second time.
In 2023, we looked after 5 dogs and 4 cats at four different locations, two in SE Qld and two in Chiang Mai, Thailand and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In July 24, we were back in Penang, pet-sitting two cats. This was followed with looking after a large home and three lovely animals on the Gold Coast for a month, then a dog-sit for a few weeks in Birtinya, Sunshine Coast.
As we are travelling again in March/April, we could be available for short-term sits in May and up to mid June this year, and from late August.
