Hello, we’re Amanda (57) and Mal (62). For the past three years we’ve been travelling and house sitting across Australia, caring for a wide range of homes and animals. We’ve built strong experience, enjoyed many repeat sits, and received over 16 five-star reviews on another house sitting site.
We’re now settled in Eden on the Sapphire Coast and plan to keep house sitting in the local region. Our 20-foot caravan allows us to be flexible with locations, and we appreciate sits with enough space to park it (about 9m x 2.5m).
Our most recent sit was a small hobby farm where we cared for goats, a horse, a donkey, chickens, fish, geese, and three dogs. We’re confident caring for both household pets and larger animals, including those with medical or special needs. Over the years we’ve also looked after cats, sheep, ferrets, frogs, birds, and more.
Amanda is a former nurse with the Australian Defence Force, and Mal is a retired senior IT manager now working locally in Eden. We’re practical, reliable, and organised. We’re non-smokers, hold clean driver’s licences, and can provide current police checks.
We enjoy gardening and keeping homes tidy and well maintained. Being local means we can meet homeowners beforehand and are happy to take on longer or repeat sits. If you’re after dependable sitters who’ll care for your home and animals as if they were our own, we’d love to hear from you.
