We’re Bee and Rick—a kind, mature, reliable, and genuine animal-loving couple who work remotely. I work for The Smith Family and have a background in teaching and international development. Rick works in large-scale renewable energy and is an experienced electrician.
We’ve been house and pet sitting for over 10 years combined, through a range of house sitting platforms (which Mindahome won’t allow us to mention haha), with nothing but five-star reviews. You can find us online or we can send the info through.
We take great pride in caring for homes, gardens, lawns and, most importantly, animals.
I grew up in rural northwest NSW, surrounded by animals—including rescue kangaroos— and have extensive experience with dogs, chooks, horses, goats, and some farm stock etc
We’re nature enthusiasts through and through. We aim to live sustainably, and our hope is that we leave minimal impact wherever we go, treading lightly, treating everything and everyone with respect and kindness. We do not smoke and seldom drink alcohol. We also prefer fragrance-free, low-tox living due to medical sensitivities and use natural products for homes and animals where possible (aside from parasite control).
We genuinely enjoy getting to know a place, its land, and its community. Having cared for a palliative rescue dog, we understand the importance of finding trustworthy, competent sitters so you can be away without worry.
We have current national police checks, excellent references, and would love to hear from you if we sound like a good fit.
