I live and work in Port Lincoln SA. I am currently building a house with my partner and we are living on site during the process.
My job as a nurse educator is during school terms, so I have some flexibility in school holidays to do some house sitting.
I have an 11-year-old desexed female Papillon. She usually goes everywhere with me!, but my partner is happy to care for her when I go away to visit my adult children who are spread out in various locations across this great country. I am looking for opportunities during SA school holidays to travel to WA, & QLD, and also within SA.
VIC house sitting would be welcomed in July as we plan to do a road trip across to Melbourne and back, I will have my partner and my little dog with me for that one.
I’ve always had animals. Everything from various breeds of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, goats, turtles, frogs, lizards and kangaroos. (I had the relevant wildlife permits for the lizards and kangaroos at the time).
I have always kept goldfish and fresh water tropical fish and have over 30 years experience keeping ponds and tanks. My tropical fish tank now is mostly cichlids but I have kept numerous varieties over the years.
My favourite TV show is gardening Australia! I am a Keen gardener and enjoy both outdoor and indoor plants. And my favourite type of gardening is produce veggie gardening, herbs and fruit trees. I am also an absolute fan of Australian natives, in fact this is a keen interest of mine.
