After living overseas for the last few years, I am returning to Sydney with my wife and we are keen to use house sitting as a way of considering potential areas for us to ultimately settle in.

I am 59 and work from home as a freelancer with clients all over the world. As a family we are used to having a cat at home, but we have also looked after dogs as part of house-sitting assignments in the past. I have personally had experience with less conventional pets when I was younger (e.g. lizards, aviary birds, ducks, chickens, etc).

My wife is a university lecturer although currently without a teaching post.

Since being back in Australia, I have conducted house sits in the Blue Mountains (dog and 2 cats) and Bathurst (1 dog) and will be house-sitting a cat in Marrickville after Christmas for 2 weeks.

“Michael & Ulvi were a pleasure to deal with & have minding our house… From first contact they communicated clearly, and followed through with what they said. They made efforts to meet up & go through the house / pet requirements beforehand, which was appreciated as our first time going through a website. They were punctual and reliable turning up, and kept in touch with updates & any questions that arose while we were gone. Most importantly the animals were happy & in good condition on our return, and the house was clean and cared for. I will be happy to do this again - and recommend Michael & Ulvi as housesitters to others!”

“I recently had Michael and Ulvi look after my home and Atticus Catticus. Everything went smoothly and I'd have no hesitation in recommending them to look after your home / animals . They we’re a breeze to deal with - flexible, quick to respond, friendly and so responsible. I could see straight away that Atticus would be in good hands when he took the time to sit on the front step and get to know him. The house was left so clean and tidy - and linen all washed…the garden thriving. Particularly appreciated regular updates of Atticus.”
