My name is Kate and I’m a professional, reliable, and caring house sitter. As a registered counsellor working online, I have the flexibility to care for homes and pets while maintaining my work. I’ve been self-employed for over a decade, and in addition to counselling, I also teach yoga and meditation. My lifestyle is peaceful, smoke-free, and centered around mindfulness.

Housesitting is an exciting chapter for me, and I’m loving the freedom it brings. My personality is warm and calm, but I’m also meticulous when it comes to cleanliness—your home will be sparkling during my stay and upon your return.

I’m comfortable in both suburban homes and acreage properties, as long as there’s a strong internet connection. Having lived on acreage myself, I’m experienced in caring for livestock, dogs, chickens, and horses. I’m an animal and nature lover, so pet care is always a joy.

I'm in my mid 50's and fit, as I work out most days at the gym. With three grown, independent children, I have the flexibility and dedication to provide reliable, respectful, and loving care for your home and animals. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your space as if it were my own.

“In short Kate was just fantastic to have as a sitter. We were overseas for the sit, and Kate took care of every little detail. There were simply no worries whilst we were away. The pool was sparkling, lawns and gardens well cared for and the cat was very well looked after. Kate went above and beyond in our view. The house was super clean, and Kate went as far as to make sure there was fresh milk and bread for our late night return. We have already booked Kate for our next trip. Very very highly recommended. Kate is the house sitter your want!”

“Kate simply put was an exceptional person to have as a house sitter and we are thrilled that she will attend to our future sits as well. An extremely clear communicator, Kate also just simply took care of any minor issue that may have arisen allowing us to have a great break. Our Tilly cat was well cared for, the house was sparkling on our return and the gardens and flowers well looked after. I have no hesitation at all at using Kate again and highly recommend her for any other sit she may apply for.”
