I’m Melissa, I just turned 60 and i have been house sitting on and off for about 15 years.
In 2022, I started travelling on the road, crossing the Nullabor and i end up in QLD working as a ‘live-in’ volunteer with various NFP organisations. I decided to return to Perth for 2025 to study Residential drafting at Tafe and to do housesitting pets again.
I love animals and I have looked after a menagerie of pets during my housesits; from chickens, cockies, fish, horses, sheep and my favourite cats and dogs.
I have permaculture/ farmhand experience and I also enjoy keeping house.
I have turned over cars for long-term sits, given medications to sick dogs, I will even wash your dog in hot weather and bedding, brush long haired dogs daily and you can 100% trust that i have your pet’s interests at heart.
i prefer to be near a train line or a bus into Perth as my studies require me to go in for average 15 hours/ week.
I can now be available to look after your best friends with long walks or lots of cuddles and tending to your garden.
I’m a non drinker and non smoker and I don’t got out at night, I prefer to keep daylight hours as I practice yoga.
