We are a recently retired couple from Whyalla, SA. I (Tracey), worked in education for many years & Baz is a retired electrician. We are animal lovers & have our own 11yo Ausssie Shepherd Alby, who is very calm, sociable & friendly. We have recently moved to Adelaide for family reasons and are looking forward to meeting lots of new people & having many new experiences. 1. Tracey and Barry are a lovely, caring, trustworthy couple. We felt very comfortable asking them to house sit our property from the 1-10 October 2024, while our family travelled interstate. They were very thorough with all of the questions they asked prior to their stay. They were very responsive to our requests about what needed doing while we were away. They communicated as needed to ensure they were looking after the house properly during their stay. It was incredible to return home to the house and find it in spotless condition. They kept our house and garden in perfect order, put out bins, collected mail and cleaned the house to a point where we couldn’t believe they had even stayed in our home. It was amazing to come home to a house cleaner than we left it! They laundered the linen and even prepared a meal for our family on our return, which was wonderful as we were exhausted from our travels, arriving home late at night.
