We’re Sophie & Rob, a reliable, pet-loving couple based on the Sunshine Coast, and we’d love to care for your home and furry friends while you're away.

We’ve been living locally on the Sunshine Coast for the past six years and have been house and pet sitting for the last two years. Our experience includes caring for a wide range of pets and properties, always with a strong focus on keeping animals happy and homes well maintained.

Rob is a real estate photographer who works mostly from home. With a background in carpentry, he’s very handy around the house and enjoys keeping outdoor areas tidy - whether it’s maintaining the pool, gardening, or taking care of small repairs. He also loves being around animals and spending time outdoors.

Sophie works part-time, giving her plenty of flexibility to dedicate time to pet care. She has a genuine love for animals - especially dogs - and previously worked as a pet sitter on Mad Paws. She always makes sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after.

We’re a non-smoking, easygoing couple with police checks, great references, and a shared love for peaceful living and beach walks with our canine companions. Above all, we treat your home and pets with the same care and respect we would our own.

“Rob and Sophie were absolutely awesome house sitters! They took great care of our two dogs and cat, and we loved getting lots of photo and video updates. The house was spotless when we got back, the plants were well-watered, and the pool was well maintained. Plus, Sophie even left us a yummy lunch in the fridge—such a lovely surprise after our trip! They’re super friendly, reliable, and people we’d happily trust with our home and pets again. Can’t recommend them enough!”

“Sophie and Rob are a delightful couple who did the most amazing job caring for our beloved dog and looking after our house. Even though our dog is quite an individual and is quite wary of new situations and people, Sophie and Rob were very understanding of her needs and she settled with them very quickly. We received regular photo and video updates whilst we were away and it was evident from all of these that our dog was extremely happy.
