I am a kind, gentle and capable single mature man with experience in caring for all sorts of animals and properties. I have looked after dogs of all ages, cats, horses, rabbits and am willing to learn about all other pets. I have my own transport and can provide references from home and pet owners from my previous house sitting experiences. I have some minor health issues that prevent me from working at the moment but they do not stop me from being an active pet-sitter. I am clean and tidy and enjoy living a quiet life at home as a non-smoker and non-drinker. I'm looking forward to some new adventures and environments and meeting new pet friends. I have been a professional Santa in the past, which means that I have a current WWCC and have a clean criminal record check.

“John who is now affectionately known as Uncle John was absolutely brilliant as a house sitter. We came home to a happy House. Everything was in order. The kitchen was spotless. But the most important thing is that the animals were really happy. Our dog Tillie is rather demanding for affection and loves to cuddle and kiss and sit on people’s laps. John was very generous with his care of her. We highly recommend John to anyone who has animals. And we look forward to inviting him into our home again.”

“John looked after our labradoodle Tilly for 4 weeks in September. From the moment we met John it was obvious he has a good repour with dogs. When we arrived home while Tilly was extremely happy to see us she was more than happy to go back to John for a pat. It was obvious Tilly was very well cared for. John was quick to reply with any communication. The house was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend John to anyone looking for a house/ dog sitter.”
