Semi retired couple slow travelling around Australia house/pet sitting as we go. No home base. Live fulltime in 7.3mtr motorhome and have a small car for exploring and shopping. We don’t have our own pets but in our past before travelling, have always had dogs, birds, cats. We understand them. Non smokers, a glass of wine on Fridays.

“Karen and Derek house-sat for me while I was away for work for a week, and I honestly couldn’t have been happier with the care they provided. My dog was so well looked after and clearly very loved while I was away. They went above and beyond to make sure he was happy, taking him for walks, throwing the ball with him in the garden, and letting him curl up for cuddles on the couch each night. It was so reassuring to know he was receiving so much attention and comfort. I came home to a relaxed, content dog and a well-kept house, which says it all. I highly recommend Karen and Derek and would gladly have them house-sit again.”

“Karen and Derek house-sat for me over Christmas and looked after my dog, Doug, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better people. This was the second time they have house-sat for me, which says a lot about the trust I have in them. I have never left Doug with anyone other than family before, so I was extremely stressed as he is a needy dog. From the start, Karen and Derek were amazing. They took great care of Doug and sent me daily updates, which completely put my mind at ease. It was clear he received a lot of love and attention while I was away. When I returned home, my house was immaculate, which was a lovely bonus. I highly recommend Karen and Derek and would not hesitate to have them house-sit again. They are kind, reliable, and truly treated like he was their own.”

“My partner and I were out of the country for a month and picked Karen and Derek to housesit for us, to say they were wonderful is an understatement! The care shown for both my dog and home is nothing short of amazing, the house was immaculate on my return and the dog was very happy, would recommend to anyone and will be my first choice whenever I travel next!”
