We are Lisa & Mark.
I (Lisa) was a teacher for 20 years and Mark in IT for 25 but in 2019 we left our stressful careers behind and started a NFP called 'Empowered Today' teaching Empowerment, Resilience and Self Defence to women & girls.
2 years ago we sold our house in Mullumbimby, Northern NSW and bought land in Bellingen, Mid Coast NSW. We are currently waiting for the land to become available to build on (which will be some time yet as the subdivision does not even have DA approval yet). We are using this opportunity to travel, housesit and offer women's empowerment training in the areas we travel to.
We are non-smoking, non-drinking, d/f, quiet, clean & respectful homebodies and promise to take care of your home as though it was our own. We have been landlords and know how hard it is to trust your property to other people, so feel free to contact us and ask anything you like about us. We have house and pet sitting experience and everyone we have sat for has been very happy with the care we took with their homes and pets.
We are currently looking for longer housesits to be in one place a while and hopefully offer some workshops or a facilitator training in the region while we are there. Maybe your home could be the next place we do that...
