We’re Ro & Elly, a happily married, semi-retired professional couple with extensive house and pet sitting experience across Sydney and all coastal and some country regions of NSW.
We have completed dozens of successful house sits, caring for a wide variety of homes and pets. We are confident, calm and attentive carers who genuinely enjoy the responsibility that comes with looking after someone’s home and much-loved animals. Excellent references are available on request.
We are very experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments - we love daily walks and are comfortable administering medications and following specific care routines. We are equally happy caring for cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish and birds.
We are non-smokers and only occasional social drinkers, living a healthy and active lifestyle. Family is important to us and we regularly visit our young grandchildren in Canberra.
Over the years we’ve owned pets including Samoyeds and German Spitz, as well as maintaining multiple aviaries with native parrots, finches, quail and budgies. We’ve also raised guinea pigs and rabbits, giving us hands-on experience with both domestic and small animals.
As long-term homeowners and landlords, we bring a strong sense of responsibility and care to every property. We understand how important it is to maintain a home properly and always leave it clean, tidy and exactly as we found it - if not better.
We both work from home part-time, allowing us to be present and attentive to pets and property. In our downtime, we enjoy exploring local areas on foot, attending the theatre, exercising, cooking and settling into the rhythm of each neighbourhood.
