We are a travelling married couple (50 & 62) who are living on the road. We have been travelling together for 6 years and now travel full time. We own a property on the mid-north coast of NSW which we have rented out.
We love housesitting as a way of slowing down and exploring an area.
We are a practical and down to earth couple who are meticulously clean and tidy. We are non-smokers and love all animals (sadly we have none of our own now due to travelling).
Richard is retired. He’s able to operate a zero-turn lawn mower, uses a chainsaw regularly, knows how to care for a swimming pool, and can also use a quad bike/Polaris. He can drive a manual vehicle.
Kath works remotely part time for an Australian IT services company. She has a HR licence and can drive a manual vehicle.
We love all animals and have looked after dogs, cats, birds, chickens an axolotl and cows. We both love gardening, and are happy to maintain gardens, pot plants and veggie patches.

“Kath & Richard did a fabulous job particularly in the wake of the floods in Taree. Kath went above and beyond in making sure our house and pets were safe with the flood water lapping at our door. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a housesitter and will have them back at any time (and we are in December).”
